1. I want a tattoo to be done, where do I start?
Do the research, check out portfolios online, tattoo studio reviews, ask your friends. When you are ready, come down to the studio, bring any reference photos you have, printed copies work, or if you just have a vision that is stored up in that mind with minimal images, just bring yourself in and we will help you put that vision to your skin.

2. What is the procedure for getting a tattoo?
The art of tattooing has been around for centuries with every major culture doing the process.
Think before we Ink : Think about what you want on your body before getting a tattoo. Once you’ve picked a design and discussed the procedure, then we will schedule an appointment with you.
When you arrive, we derive : Once you have arrived at the tattoo studio, we will present you with a stencil that is been created for your design. Once the design is approved from your end, we will ask you to fill a quick health checkup form so that you don’t have any skin related issues and you don’t get affected on your health while we ink you.
Dream tattoo on the way : Once finalized with the design, we will shave the location where you are getting the tattoo. Your tattoo will take anywhere from 5 minutes for a little star to several hours for bigger pieces. We assure you to have a healthy and sterilized tattoo, as we know you are the one who will wear this image for life.
Take a Final look and it’s done : Once your beautiful tattoo is done, please allow the artist to take a picture as we have worked hard on it. Also please take a pic at your end as this is a part of your body which will remain long with you. Allow us to bandage the tattooed area and follow the aftercare instructions.
3. Does getting a Tattoo Hurt?
It’s hard to tell you how much it hurts because it varies so much between different people and the part being tattooed. It will be good if you arrive well rested, having eaten something, being hydrated, and staying relaxed – The better you will be able to sit through the sessions.
4. Is it safe to get tattooed?
Yes. We at Astron – take a lot of pride in having a clean and comfortable environment, and we’ll take every precaution with you. Be aware, though, that there is a risk of infection if you do not properly care for your tattoo. (For aftercare, please navigate to FAQs #12 below)
5. How much does a Tattoo cost?
Tattoo pricing varies based on the size of the tattoo, subject matter and other factors. Also it depends on the time it takes for an artist to complete the tattoo. Please consult by call, mail or direct walk-in to Astron Tattoos for detailed tattoo pricing.
6. What should I bring with me to my consultation?
Sketches, drawings, print-outs, and references are greatly appreciated by the artist. This helps give him or her better and clearer idea of what you want and how you want it to look on your body.
7. I love the work I got at your studio. What is an appropriate way to express these feelings?

8. When are you open?
We are open for consultations and tattoo appointments on all weekdays and weekends, 11am to 8pm.
9. How long will the tattoo take to heal?
The better you look after it the sooner it will be healed. It can take anything from 5 days to 5 weeks, but usually around 7 to 10 days.
10. Can I see my tattoo before it is inked?
Yes, you can see the tattoos before it is inked. We are the only Tattoo studio in India which does the tattoo on a photograph of your body digitally so that you can exactly see what your tattoo is going to look like before you take an appointment and get it inked.

11. What is the minimum age to get tattoos?
Anybody receiving a tattoo must be at least 18 years of age and show proof of age using one of acceptable forms of valid government issued identification.
12. What is the procedure for Tattoo Aftercare?
Follow the below process for Tattoo Aftercare.
After removing your bandage (3-5 hrs after tattoo is done), wash your tattoo with lukewarm water and apply some antibacterial soap. Make sure to rub the soap gently. Your first wash should be done extremely well to remove any excess dried blood, etc!
Don’t apply anything on tattoo at least for first 3 days. During this period, avoid taking shower directly on the tattoo.
Do not get the tattoo wet; it is not good to have contact with water in early stages.
Apply lotion in a small quantity (just a thinnest layer), after first three days are completed.
Avoid any physical exercises for 15 days.
Tattoos usually take 2 weeks of time to heal. Also different tattoos have different healing time. It can vary from 2 weeks to 4 weeks.
Do not prick or scratch.
